Elvis got off a plane in the airport in Charlotte on Sunday. Seeing as it was Halloween, there's much that could be said about that, but I live in the south, and I'm sure the south is like the rest of the country. It's easy to spot someone dressing in an Elvis costume, and someone so totally devoted to Elvis that they have the hair going on. Usually they're also in shades and all black (why is that?). This guy? Elvis devotee.

Odd of the day

Yesterday, my car wasn't ready when it came time for me to pick it up from the transmission guys. Can we say pissed? Because I was. Since they said it would be ready last FRIDAY.

Anyway, since my dad was dropping me there en route to the airport, they had to drive me home.

As only men in Randolph County can have, there was a signature on his visor. Yes, the visor to shield your eyes from the sun.
