I went shopping at lunch looking for a necklace. That's all I wanted. A necklace. A chunky necklace, something in turquoise or amber or a burnt red to go with a certain white top.
Of course, there aren't any necklaces like that at Hecht's. Pfft. I just wanted something cheap, colorful, and chunky. Much more important than cut, clarity or carat.
So I trotted on over to the clothing section and managed to find a good, thick white wifebeater (and currently I'm shocked that two of my coworkers have never heard that term before) and a cute A-line skirt that's white with green and pink decoration. It's very funky and very me.

I hate my hair. *wails* Today I wore one of my more conservative outfits. Khaki fitted pants, a loose white cotton blouse. I look like a librarian (nothing against librarians, just I look like the cliche of one). I hate this. I want *my* hair back.
