Men annoy me. Not any of you men on my friends' list, but men in general interacting with me today. They annoy me.

I'm also feeling very porny. I don't know if I'll get time today to utilize those porny feelings and torture anyone in fic. (I have this strange fascination with Jonathan and Martha and phone sex. And Clark accidentally picking up the extension. I just really want to embarrass Clark. And write porn. That's believable.)

Wanna know what's really...invigorating? Wearing a fairly full skirt, scraping the ice off the windshield, and getting a blast of icy air to the rear that causes you to do a fairly wintry version of Marilyn Monroe in Seven Year Itch.

At least I made scraping the windshield look good.

The little old lady who lives downstairs from me and has beginning stage Alzheimers is really worrying me. I have her son's number. Called him a couple of weeks ago when she didn't know me. (I really freaked out that day because she was being really nice - Evelyn is not normally a nice person, even though I adore her.)

The nurse today came out of the apartment crying. Apparently Evelyn fell yesterday, didn't sleep well last night, and is in pain. The woman's in pain! Yet she got mad when the nurse called her son yesterday. Poor nurse is young, very sweet. She was so upset that she had to call the son again (because the not sleeping because of pain means Evelyn needs to go to the hospital), because she knew Evelyn would be mad. I assured her that she was doing the right thing (which she knew too, she's smart, just sensitive) and told her to let Ron handle Evelyn's getting mad. Hell, Evelyn can just get over it. If she refuses to go to a nursing home, then she has to deal with being tattled on when she hurts herself.

Um, just so you know, Evelyn is a *very* stubborn woman. Very. Alzheimers or not, it doesn't change who she is. And when dealing with her, you have to have a very firm hand, or else she'll railroad you. I've fought with her before. That's fine. She gets over things quickly. This poor nurse doesn't know the things I know though, nor has she built up a tolerance for Evelyn's temper.

Stupid people calling the office. I give them the answer to a question they asked, and they don't like it. So what? Just because you don't like it doesn't make it false. You aren't getting what you want until tomorrow. Face it. Shut the fuck up. Arguing with me just pisses me off.

I might be more coherent later.

Lurking on the Jenascia chat right now. My computer crashed in the middle, so while I know she answered one of my questions early on, I have no clue what she said. *sigh* Must wait until tomorrow for the transcript.

But in response to someone's question about what she thought of Catie's "many faces", Jen replied "I had her pegged from the beginning." Hee!

Okay, seriously loving Jenascia right now (despite her adoration of Alan Iverson).

When I asked what she was going to do now, whether it was back to waitressing, or maybe take over the world...

She responsed "The same thing I do every night. Try and take over the world."

A Pinky & the Brain girl! Wooohoo!!!

Just because there are a few people on my friends' list that will appreciate this.

Check out this map

Chrysler A section
Row 48
Seats 16 and 17

That will be where [livejournal.com profile] plum_evil and I will have our butts parked on May 22 for the Winston Nextel All-Star Challenge. Hee!

Ignore the part where we're on Jimmie Johnson's row. That was a fluke. We're all about the Junior and the Jamie.
