Well, my fannish nature has kicked in for the summer. And yet again, it's reality TV that has given me something to go nuts for. America's Next Top Model is cracking my shit up. Thank god there's at least one other person as in love with this show as me (points at
plum_evil).
Elyse is too cute for words, plus wonderfully snarky. And she's damn intelligent. A BS and a BA (biology and spanish respectively) in three years. The girl's only 20. I have respect.
Adrianne is a tomboy and completely tough. I love her. Chick with attitude. Plus I'm dying to have my hair cut like hers.
I actually *liked* Ebony before they booted her. Hey, yeah she seemed angry a lot, and she was loud, but when she got pissed off at lazy ass Giselle, at least it was justified. Plus the tall, statuesque, bald thing *worked.*
Giselle. Prima donna. Whiny little brat. Get the girl some self esteem too while you're at it. Here's hoping she's gone next week.
Shannon is a generic blonde, so I can't get too excited by her. Plus she's young and stupid. Take the whole "I'm a Christian so I must shun the lesbian's girlfriend" bit. Whatever. If you were really a Christian you would seperate out your beliefs about what they do and love them anyway.
Robin. Whew. Diiiiiivaaaaaa. While she does provide a bit of fun to watch, she's still just too much. Pretty but way overboard on the accent and the drama. And sadly, it's kind of obvious that she's lacking in any sort of experience outside of her little home town. Girl has no sense of the real world.
Keese is cute. I really love her eyes and she's very fresh faced. My only thing is that the way she talks comes across wrong. She doesn't seem to be dumb, but that's the impression you get half the time when she talks. Here's to hoping that someone teaches her, Robin and Adrianne how to talk clearly and without hick inflections or mumbling.
