I know, I know. Nothing from me all day yesterday. You were all devestated. Don't worry though. I was reeling from the shock of almost losing Ruben (you have no idea what I would have done to the folks at FOX - I *tried* to vote for Ruben Tuesday night, I just couldn't get through for two hours).

So, I was just over at Kryptonsite, looking at the pictures from the season finale of Smallville.

It's so official that it screams official )
I always get suspicious when people go into meetings with my direct supervisor. She rarely has meetings, so it's going to be one of a few things. Could be accounting related, could be related to the other person in accounting. Or it could be about me.

So this one woman in the office who treats me great half the time and like shit the rest of the time (oddly enough, everyone else in the office thinks she treats me more like shit than I do, but oh well), she met with my supervisor this morning. I was already a bit edgey about that.

Then I got an email from my supervisor asking to meet with me this afternoon. Now I'm a nervous wreck. I'm pretty sure I know what it's about (but hey, I can't help it if the media isn't writing about hunger-related issues right now). And I'm pretty sure there's not going to be a firing or anything (none of the main bosses met with my supervisor). But still. It may be minor, but I hate these kinds of things.

Of course it might also be about responding to resumes. Something that irritates the hell out of me when the people who are supposed to sign the letters don't give them back to me. So if you don't give them back, I stop printing them.

Thanks everybody for the hugs. I'm gonna be all zen and use the next few hours to work out the anxious feeling by taking it out on an overstuffed filing cabinet.

Oh, and I can't feel bad now because I bought my ticket for X2 at lunch. I see it at 5:30 (and I only paid $5.50). Woohoo!

Now off to teach that filing cabinet a thing or two.

The meeting with my supervisor? Not about any of the things I listed earlier. Just to let me know that the employee handbook is being changed and that timesheets are now going to have to be entered into the system by noon on Monday.

Of course the meeting with me part was because I'm one of the procrastinators. That's all.

*big ole sigh of relief*

TV Guide has up it's description of the next to last episode of the season for Smallville. The episode is called "Calling."

Methinks somebody at TV Guide has a sense of humor...and doesn't like Lana. )
