I always get suspicious when people go into meetings with my direct supervisor. She rarely has meetings, so it's going to be one of a few things. Could be accounting related, could be related to the other person in accounting. Or it could be about me.
So this one woman in the office who treats me great half the time and like shit the rest of the time (oddly enough, everyone else in the office thinks she treats me more like shit than I do, but oh well), she met with my supervisor this morning. I was already a bit edgey about that.
Then I got an email from my supervisor asking to meet with me this afternoon. Now I'm a nervous wreck. I'm pretty sure I know what it's about (but hey, I can't help it if the media isn't writing about hunger-related issues right now). And I'm pretty sure there's not going to be a firing or anything (none of the main bosses met with my supervisor). But still. It may be minor, but I hate these kinds of things.
Of course it might also be about responding to resumes. Something that irritates the hell out of me when the people who are supposed to sign the letters don't give them back to me. So if you don't give them back, I stop printing them.
