I like the Oscar nominations. They all seem pretty fair (and I'm glad they put Daniel Day-Lewis in the best actor category), so no gripes from this angle.

And damn it's going to be fun to watch this year. My one big wish came true. The one thing I wanted to be nominated did get nominated.

Hee. Eminem at the Oscars. Seriously? They've been needing a severe update in the music category. So it will be Eminem versus U2, Paul Simon, a song from Chicago, and something from Frida (cause the damn Oscars page doesn't specify what the song is). Do I love Eminem? Nope. I personally hope the song from Gangs of New York wins. But it's gonna be fun to watch.

I am the Queen of Pissy today. It's a small country, sandwiched between the countries of Perturbed and Outraged. Yes, it's a monarchy. A monarchy of one. My own little kingdom. We eat cornflakes for breakfast here. Growling has become an art form. The royal seal reads "Bite Me."

And if these idiots don't start behaving or leaving me alone I'll shove my very pointy scepter so far up their asses...

Everyone has a project to be completed, no one wants theirs to come second, the phones are ringing nonstop, telemarketers are running rampant, some people calling actually are trying to be funny and/or chatty today, and coworkers are not telling me when they go into meetings, so I page for them without a response. Then I get to fuss at them.

It's proving to be a very fun day.
