I'm an "It" girl!

Hee! Lunchtime fun today, although there's no way in hell it's going to my head (cause I'm very realistic on this kind of thing).

Went to Subway at lunch and whilst I was walking to the door, a woman stops me and asks me if I've ever considered modeling. Then proceeds to hand me a card.

I of course thanked her nicely, informed her modeling was my sister's thing, then walked out the door and burst out laughing, scaring some construction workers in the process.

It was a nice little ego boost, but let's face it. This ain't the Mecca of Models. I look good, but no better than most women who take the time makeup and hair (and I only took the time on hair today because it was rainy and my hair was curling up, so I straightened it with the iron). My sister now, she's tall and blond and pretty in that California, every-blond-looks-alike way. When I stand beside her, I don't get noticed.

So I looked good today and got noticed by a talent scout that's desperately looking for a commission. No biggie. I'll take it as a compliment to my fab new glasses and great hair color. And the three inch heeled boots that make me look tall (because I'm not).

I've been a bad, bad girl. Long day at work, and I've done very little that actually might qualify as a reason for being paid to be here. *g* Lazy me. I'll get over the procrastinating thing again....tomorrow.

I also haven't studied nearly enough for my Criminalistics test. Will do that at...4:00. Yeah, at 4.

In my extreme boredom I went to Quizilla and took every single Gilmore Girls quiz there was. It became quickly evident that:

1. I have minute amounts of Rory, Louisa, Lane and Paris in me.
AND
2. I am, in fact, Lorelai.

There are tons of those quizes (and about half are not good at all). I did get each of the four listed in number one above once. But just once (and I blame getting Louisa on the music quiz - cause dammit, I like Shakira). I got Lorelai somewhere around 5 times. *sniff*

And of course the guys I get are either Luke (twice) or Christopher (once).

I seriously need to find that damn Hallmark Town. Maybe they'll have a hottie that snarks and works in a diner.

Anyone watch Third Watch last night? Is it just me, or is the urge to punch the cop Bosco is currently partnered with an overwhelming thing? I really, really dislike that woman, that character...I don't know. It's the whole package.

She's like a female version of Bosco gone wrong and bitchy. And I can barely tolerate Bosco at times.

And last question of the day. For anyone that watches Law & Order: SVU.

While he's not the greatest actor, isn't Ice T just the coolest damn cop? *sigh* I don't know why Friday's repeat put me in such a big Ice T mood (actually I do, I adore the way he and that chick played off of each other), but someone mentioned him in a post earlier on a friend's friends list and...just got me to thinking about him.
