Well, every station is forecasting snow/sleet/freezing rain. In North Carolina, that means one thing.

We're getting nothing. At all. Maybe some rain at some point. If we do get something, it will be a miracle, because the forecast is never right. When they say that we'll maybe get flurries, we get a foot.

I have a disertation on crossover artists that originated in country music and the backlash that comes from their crossover attempts or success, but it's going to be long, so I'm waiting until I'm done with Juvenile Justice for tonight before typing it. The gang research is interfering with my online time, darn it! *g*

And I now know more than I probably needed to know about the Latin Kings. The only gang that is actually in my hometown. Word of advice folks, very violent gang.
Okay, the weather forecasters are all laughing at me now. School is canceled for tonight. Wanna know why?

Southeast Braces For Storm

That would be why. Cause it's snowing. As in big fat flakes that are quickly covering the ground. At least that's what it's like here at work (and for those of you who don't see the problem with this, well, we're Southerners, we don't own snow tires and we can't drive on rainy days, let alone snowy ones). At home, which is just 20 miles South, it's freezing rain that's covering the roads and will probably knock out power. And I've just been instructed that I should probably go on home. Yay! Office closing!

See ya'll later!
