I have to say that I really wanted Sandra Bullock to win the Oscar. I have been a fan of hers for a million years, and I'm not sure if it's in spite of or because of movies like "Love Potion No. 9" and "Two Weeks Notice." I found her speech totally charming and the fact that she accepted a Razzie that same weekend in person means that she just isn't taking everything so seriously.
That said, I am sure Gabby Sidibe would have been a blubbering mess. She already was a blubbering mess when Oprah started talking about her. (Which was so cute, I couldn't stand it.) I couldn't help rooting for her, too. And not to say that the award wouldn't have been epically awesome as you noted. I would have been really upset if Meryl Streep had won it, because doesn't she have like 58 of them already?
