The mystic tan drives me insane. While I get that it's better for the skin than being out in the sun, if you put it on without some base of color to begin with, all that happens is a very orange glow. Or in my case, orange streaks when you shave.

i never fake bake. I'm lucky to have some natural colour and I'm such a klutz I'm sure i'd screw it up.

And you'd think the folks who really don't need it (Lindsay Lohan, I'm looking at you, you redhead) wouldn't go for it. I'm pasty white (a very very pasty white) and dye my hair red. Frankly, no one should complain about the pasty with red hair. *g*

You have that natural tan that I'm SO envious of. Just hte right amount of color to glow without having to worry about being called pasty or worrying about skin damage.

:D god bless my mamma and her portuguese skin. I got lucky. my colouring is something i am totally, completely comfortable with and awesomely proud of, because while it might not transfer in other areas, i totally lucked out there.

I have family members that are bright white as well, and we just laughingly call it "porcelin" (even though it's not quite that flawless) and praise lack of skin damage.

Well, one side does anyway.
