NASCAR 60 Most Beautiful Meme
Being a sucker for anything that causes any kind of controversy in the NASCAR garage, I had to snap up the NASCAR Sporting News 60 Most Beautiful issue. Because that right there is hilarity enough - the fact that someone even did such an issue.
Well, looking through I see some very obvious flaws. Like, lots of reporters, but a complete lack of representation from the Nationwide or Craftsman Truck series. (Logano doesn't count, as he's not done a full season in either series. Same with Scott Speed.) I do appreciate that they put wives in there (because their sacrifices are huge - they're as much a part of the team as the drivers themselves). I do think there's one problem with wife ranking though - help these men out by always ranking their wives above them if you are including the wife on the list. I think the only wife that got screwed on that front was Delana Harvick. And you know Kevin gloated.
I have a proposition to make regarding this, though. I think all of us horribly bored NASCAR fans should now do our own list of 60. Include drivers (from all series), crew members, wives, media members, owners, family of any sort. I'd say that, because it's NASCAR, the aim should be to keep the list at least 50% drivers and crew. Pictures are always great. Deadline: any time before Daytona.

Song Recs Needed
You know how you're driving down the road, listening to the radio, and suddenly something comes on that you think "God I loved that song back in the day! Why do I not have it?"
Well, the reason I don't have it is because I can't write it down right then, so I forget by the time I'm somewhere I can write.
Help me out by reccing old school songs (80s, 90s) that are total must haves. We may not agree on everything, but there's always that chance of something that'll totally spark as being just what I'm looking for.

Basically, first time I saw this video, I thought "OMG, it's Gerard Butler if he was a dorky country singer."

Spencer: "Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, but what's going to motivate you and, you know, your race team into 2009? I mean, you know, four in-a-row, but you know, how do you get it up? Explain to me how you do it."
Johnson: "Did you just ask me how I'm gonna get it up?"
