Thing the first....American Idol.
Dear producers - I would have HATED you if you had not shown me Tami. For real. She was earthy and raw and that VOICE. Seriously. I cannot believe you held her until the last episode before Hollywood week. Although...I can, seeing as she was early on, probably in one of those episodes that was jam packed with the awesome. Didn't want to kill us with too much awesome all at once, did you?
Dear producers - While I like Paul Kim and his voice and his singing style, it would have done me far less damage to my psyche if you'd cut out Olivia Newton John's critique. Why? Because I'd already declared to the dog (who didn't give a flying flip) that the song choice rocked and I loved the smoky quality to his voice. Then what does ONJ do? Compliment the smoky quality to his voice. Uh...no. I don't wanna be ONJ. Her plastic surgery scares me.
Dear producers - If we don't get to vote on Lakeesha, I'll hate you all. For real. Lakeesha, Tami, Melinda and Sundance are what this competition is all about - the ones that stand there and sing and aren't trying. They're just natural, amazing talent. If we don't get to vote on all four of them (but especially Lakeesha), then I will be mad.

bubblesbrnaid and I have spent many a day laughing hysterically over this now. After all, we're talking about a show that routinely features things that go bump in the night - pretty much anything is possible, right?
So how about a Looney Tunes/Supernatural crossover? Yep, you read that right. John Winchester vs. Daffy with a shotgun! Dean and Bugs bonding over snark! Sam plotting that wascally wabbit's death because of the same snark! Threats of dismemberment (by Dean) if Wile E. Coyote stands anywhere NEAR the Impala!
Come on, you know it calls to you. Everything is better when John's talking weaponry with Elmer Fudd.
