So You Think You Can Dance

*Sigh* Can they get a better title for this thing? Heck, how about fixing the title sequence to reflect a new cast of dancers? Or taking away Mary's microphone? (Although bonus point to Mary for wishing she'd fought for DJ the Clown (DJ standing for Dale Jarrett, which is how I remember him - by his hat).)

Overall, I found myself overwhelmed by the number of dancers and pairs I was supposed to remember. So many people, so much time. In the end, it really came down to the few that made themselves memorable. And looking back on it, there were only two pairs that I really, really enjoyed together.

Benji and Donyelle
Martha and Travis

Benji has more energy than Donyelle, but I adore Donyelle's dancing with a fiery passion. She's the contestant that I went into this show looking forward to. Martha I didn't have a clue about, but OMG, her physique? Amazing. There's so much about her that screams "powerhouse". And Travis is just an awesome dancer.

Individually, there were four other dancers that really caught my attention.

Stanislav
Natalie
Allison
Jason

Stanislav did a fiery paso doble that made me drool, Allison had hips to DIE for (even if she's too cutesy in the face at times), Natalie sexed it up brilliantly (even if I wanted just a bit more in the dancing from her) and Jason was just...I couldn't take my eyes off him. Jason is my male of choice, definitely.

Honorable mentions to Musa, who put on a show, even when his footwork was lacking. He showed that even if it's not a style you know how to do well, if you commit and have passion, it's still far more entertaining than perfect dance that lacks passion. I'm looking forward to Musa doing some different things in upcoming weeks.
