Because I feel the need to entertain others and take their minds off life (and basically, take mine off work and the lack of anything productive to do today): Memeage.

Ganked from [livejournal.com profile] musesfool:

And I have two lists, one for NASCAR folk and one for non-NASCAR folk, so feel free to ask a question and specify either list or both. Twice the entertainment!

1) Make a list of 15 characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment. (That way you're not leading the questions asked to fit the characters.)

2) Ask your flist to post questions in the comments.

For example:

"4, 6, 12 & 15 are starting a band together, what is their name and what kind of music do they play? Also, who's the lead singer, and what instruments do the others play?"

3) After your flist has asked enough questions, round them up and answer them using the 15 characters you selected beforehand, and then post them.

Office conversation just had: talk of toupees in NASCAR.

So far we've had confirmation that Sterling Marlin does, in fact, wear a toupee. Well dang! Apparently it is the really "good toupee", though.

The "bad toupee" award goes to Jimmy Spencer (thank god that's not actually his hair).

The "coworker's husband swears it's a toupee but after careful looking I just deem it a receeding hairline and unfortunate hair" award goes to Matt Kenseth. Plugs possibly, but not an actual toupee. Otherwise it would cover more.

I just received an email through our website (meaning, general email to the general email account) for our PR person about a former client. One of those "Your company supports this senator who's against immigration so we're not buying your product" emails. (I still am not sure whether they want an immigration bill or are against an immigration bill or what. The wording was weird.) We haven't had that client in, oh, 4 years, though, and it's oddly far easier to search for the company name and go through their website than to hunt for us.

I was good. I just responded that we no longer have that account but here's their website address. Let them find what they want on their own. Plus, considering we only had a local branch, not the corporate, it doesn't bother me to rat out a former client.
