I'm so bad

So I went over to do my daily voting at FoxSports.com for the whole Sexiest Driver thing. While I am still amazingling shocked by how soundly Elliott Sadler beat Michael Waltrip (that was...a slaughter, really), I figured anti-DEI fans had a bit to do with that. The anti-DEI, anti-Hendrick folks have more fun sabotaging those they root against than going for their guys.

Dude! They're been at it again! And I'm not complaining, despite what most would believe (yes, I'm a bad Junior fan).

Junior is currently being beaten by Dale Jarrett.

Hey, DJ is the second sexiest driver in NASCAR. Only Bobby Labonte is sexier. I am all FOR this. But only if Jeffypoo loses to Elliott Sadler, because really, if Junior loses then Jeffy has to lose too. It's all about the balance of power.

(Not for one minute do I think there won't be a shift before next Wednesday. Someone will rally for Junior. But until then, I squee.)

It's a Keith Urban kind of day. Keith Urban mournful lonely drinking ballads combined with overcast skies and hormones make for me being very...lethargic, but moody, but nostalgic and...unsettled. Really, I'm not sure if there's a correct description for how the combination of mood and music are making me feel.

Part of it has me feeling very girl. Very, very girly. The kind of girly that really wants to be wearing flowy dresses and pearls, drinking ice tea on a veranda with a good novel, a cuddly cat, and a faint breeze.

The other day I finally gave in. I've had this urge to have a skirt that's summery: floor length, flowy and not too full, but lightweight. Do any stores have anything fitting that? Nope. All long skirts fit the "really full, prairie style, broomstick" variety right now. Which would be great, except that's not what I want. Oddly enough I have a coworker who wants the exact same type of skirt. So the other day I went and found a pattern. I will sew this skirt. (Just obviously not in satin. A fabric with a better hand - not stiff like satin - will fall better, still give me comfort of movement, and yet give the impression of flow.)

Obviously it would be the long skirt. I kind of like the halter top too, except not to go with the skirt. I already have a lot of tank tops I plan to wear with the skirt. Very comfortable. Although now I'm trying to think of what color I want. I guess it depends on fabric selection, but for some reason I want a jewel-like teal or a sapphire blue.

Enter Hurley's lottery number in the slots (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42).

Click "Find".

When the seating chart comes up, click the row numbers that correspond with Hurley's lottery number in succession (row 4, row 8, etc.).
