Question

I promise, nothing else politically related for a long, long time. But I have a question regarding something from last night's VP debate (and no, I didn't watch it, I'm going from the news reports this morning).

Last night Cheney made the remark to Edwards that this was the first time they'd actually met, which was in part due to Edwards deplorable attendance record in Congress (and dang it, why isn't there anything easy to find on the Senate website that *gives* information like attendance?).

Of course the Democratic party was quick to point out post-debate that Cheney did in fact meet Edwards a couple of times (that there are pictures of). Hey, anyone in Washington? I find it hard to believe they *haven't* met at some point.

Here's the part that has me confused. How does visual proof that they have met counteract attendance records? I honestly thought upon hearing that Edwards didn't respond to that statement that Edwards *knew* that bringing up his attendance was something to be avoided.

Hey, Edwards is a smart man. The problem is getting him to show up and do the work.

I just remembered why I rabidly avoid going in my Bulk Mail folder in Yahoo Mail and instead just empty it. Yes, I might end up deleting a valid email. I probably have that way.

But I just opened it and got one of those spam subjects that makes you want to hurl. So...yeah. Not doing *that* again any time soon.

I need to dye my hair. I can see my roots. Big time. But I want to dye my hair closer to the end of the month so I'm closer to San Diego (thereby meaning brighter, more vibrant hair for the wedding).

Dale Jr. is now residing in my bedroom. For those that don't know that I have one of those 6-foot Junior standups...well, that's why Junior is now in my bedroom. That's what I get for rearranging the living room, I run out of room for Junior. (He was offered to me and free. I took. *g*)

Yes, back at the beginning of his career, I actually kind of liked Jeffy. I don't now. *g* When I got into NASCAR and really started to understand and enjoy it, I found myself just *not* liking Jeff. Then came the liking Junior.

But just so you know. My dirty secret is out of the closet.

(Oh, wait, there may be another secret...I could care less for Dale Sr. either. *runs for life*)
