My eyes just crossed (due to staring at the computer screen at a truly confusing document), so I'm taking a moment to bop in and say that I have something truly enlightening to reveal.

YOu know those granny panties? The ones with the built in panel in front to "slim and shape"? That cover you to points well past your navel and make even the scrawniest of women look like she has massive hips?

I'm wearing some. The important part of that description, though, was "slim and shape". I own two items of clothing that require lycra underneath so that the cloth drapes right. I finally had to accept that there's no point in buying a really, really pretty dress if even the slightest pooch to the tummy is unsightly. Shaping garment on and the pooch is smoothed (not gotten rid of, just shaped nicely) and the clothing drapes properly.

Damn it, though. Why couldn't I have been built like Marilyn Monroe?

I'm having belly issues today, too. First off, my skin is stretching like whoa, so it itches -- and all my skirts (even the prego ones) don't fit because I am THAT BIG AROUND. YES. It's insanity.

There should be a line of adjustable elastic/drawstring skirts for pregnant women. That way you could wear one for a while (and it would have a *lot* of give, because different women carry/grow differently). *nods*

I AM wearing the skin with the elastic around the middle -- and a drawstring. *cries*

Yep. But perfectly proportioned with those curves? I'd KILL for. LOL

LOL! I'd kill to be built like you. Curvy gets tiring. ;)

Yeah, Marilyn? Despite being an hourglass figure, was built, kinda like me. Big up top, smaller in the middle (but not tiny), and big hips. But because she was hot, nobody much mentioned the not being tiny thing. Also, in that time, having meat on the bones was normal and expected.

Blame the teany tiny thing on Twiggy.
