Just tried on every single style of jeans in sizes 7 and 9 at Target. Also tried on pairs of olive drab and black pants.
Discovered that not a single pair of jeans fits. Either they were too high-waisted and cut into my stomach, or they were too short, or too lowrise (if I sit down, you should not see the crack of my ass). Add in the trauma of the olive drab and black pants wherein one wouldn't zip and the other had a crotch that was a wee too high.
What did I end up with?

Essentially they're the same skirt, just one in denim, one in olive canvas. Very cute. Fits wonderfully.
