Fun Lunch

The first time I've gotten my hair cut in this style since the advent of spring...and humidity.

My poor hair stylist spent 20 minutes trying to get the sides even, because she cut my hair wet, and when it dried the right side was drawn way up, and the left side hung long. This is my hair. I accept the things I cannot change, and change the things I can. Hence me telling her to just chop off that annoying long hunk.

Another fun thing from lunchtime haircuts. Apparently my sister and her husband separated and I didn't know it. Neither did she. There was much chuckling.

I just got my ticket for Los Angeles and L3Con. Whee!

$262 round trip with only one layover. I leave Charlotte (holy crap, the city which is usually so much more expensive) at 8:10 am and get to L.A. at 1:05 pm. Of course the catch is I leave that SUnday at 6:50 am and don't get home until 4:44 pm, but I'll live with that catch if I can get the tickets for $262. Which I did. Yippee!

By the way, yesterday it was declared that plum_evil and I, well...our love is so DEI. She's the Junior to my Waltrip.

Which means we're sadly the most Het non-sexual OTP on the planet. Dammit. Why didn't we think of this sooner?
