I have the giggles.
Because at some point tonight I figured out that over the past few years my ears have recalibrated for the ever-changing music scene, thereby changing what I'm willing to accept on Idol.
Also known as, I far prefer the rockers to the ones with the smoooooth, perfect voices.
(Tis possible to rock and have a smooth voice - Fantasia and Melinda demonstrated this - but now I'll take passion and intensity and not forcing the song to bombastic heights over the perfect pitch or runs that go on for days.)
